The HC7000 Utility Pump Controller is designed to make any manual utility pump run automatically. It turns on the pump when it detects there's water, and turns it off when all the water is pumped out. It's not like those "smart" pumps that turn on every couple of minutes, whether there's water or not. Those pumps are unreliable and prone to failure. In fact, we get hundreds of referrals from pump manufacturers that tell their customers to return the "smart" pump, get a manual pump and call us for the controller. The HC7000 is simply the best switch you can get to control a utility pump. Only this controller will let you adjust the sensor so that the pump will turn on in as little as 1/2" of water. And since this controller uses our patented "Pump Sense" technology to detect when the water is completely pumped out and the pump is starting to draw in air, you get the maximum performance from the pump.
